"Raum", the fashion presentation/exhibition curated by myself for Philipp Dorner took place on the 17th of February 2024 during London Fashion Week. This project aimed to explore how newer designers can utilise creativity to recreate the effect of new technologies, in this instance the hologram. The exhibition consisted of three installations: (1) the hologram utilised the Pepper's Ghost effect showcasing statically the full looks of the collection on a loop, allowing spectators to appreciate the brand's aesthetic; (2) the collection's showreel was projected and was the central point of the exhibition as it showcased the garments in motion, and communicating the collection's concept which also added to the atmosphere; (3) lastly, key garments were displayed on a rail, allowing visitors to haptically experience the designs and get a greater understanding of the work and craftsmanship that went into creating the collection. The overall exhibition theme was heterotopia, a concept introduced by French philosopher Michel Foucault, aiming to create different worlds and experiences within the space, allowing the visitors to experience the garments in different ways.

The Holographic Projection

Utilising the Pepper’s Ghost Effect, this holographic projection aimed to showcase all the looks from Philipp Dorner’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection still, allowing visitors to take in the look as a whole, as envisioned by the designer.
